B 8x40, Bortle 6, NELM 5m3, SQM-L 19.7
Appeared more roundish & evenly bright. Well seen with averted vision.

102mm f/11, 28x, Bortle 6, NELM 5m0+, SQM-L 19.3
At 28x bright, slightly oval. The fairly compact, almost stellar center is visible with averted vision. Otherwise the galaxy appears rather evenly bright. At 86x the center is more evident and appeared slightly elongated, whereas the very compact nucleus is most apparent.

4.5" f/8, 60x, Bortle 6, NELM 5m3, SQM-L 19.7
Bright, slightly oval center with oval, fainter halo.

152mm f/5.9, 22x, Bortle 6, NELM 5m0+, SQM-L 19.3
At 22x striking, bright, slightly oval. The brighter, compact center is visible with averted vision. At 129x the dust lane was also well visible to the northeast of the center with averted vision.

8" f/6, 37x, Bortle 4
At 37x very bright, nearly stellar core with oval halo. Orientation NW-SE. At 100x bright, stellar core. Galaxy seems mottled arround the core. At 171x northeast of the core an obvious, slightly curved dark area (= black eye).

B 10x50, SQM-L 21.5

2020-04-04: Lovely sight! Beautifully separated with little difference in brightness. Together with two other brighter stars the double star forms an almost right-angled triangle. At 44x the primary component appears in pale orange, the companion rather grey-bluish.
