70mm f/5.7, 57x, Bortle 6-, NELM 5m.0, SQM-L 19.1
Almost permanently visible with averted vision as roundish to slightly oval nebula. Towards the middle the galaxy seemed to become slightly brighter.

Slightly oval, almost equally bright, rather faint.

MODERATE
8" f/6, 37x, Bortle 4, SQM-L 21.0
At 37x evident with averted vision as round, evenly bright nebula. At 100x a bit brighter, but less distinct center. Overall very bright, slightly oval and almost evenly bright.

8" f/6, 100x, Bortle 4, NELM 6m.0, SQM-L 21.0
At 37x well seen with averted vision as fairly compact brightening. At 100x the relatively compact, bright, round & sharply defined core was seen with direct vision. With averted vision the core was surrounded by an evenly bright, faint, slightly oval halo (inner ring). The much more fainter outer ring was not visible.
