At 37x oval with much brighter center. At 80x very bright, slightly oval core area with much fainter outer regions.

NGC 4676A: bei 72x als länglicher, gleichmäßig heller Nebelfleck zusammen mit NGC 4676B erkennbar, wobei der Nebel nach Norden breiter und heller - bei 240x ist das Zentrum von NGC 4676A nicht wirklich erkennbar, aber zumindest ist eine Zweiteilung des Nebels wahrnehmbar
NGC 4676B: bei 144x ist NGC 4676B eindeutig als Kondensation im Süden des noch zusammenhängenden Nebels erkennbar - bei 240x wirkt die Kondensation wie eine kleine Kugel
