152mm f/8, 92x, Bortle 4-, SQM-L 20.8
Conditions in the target region: SQM-L 20.7 At 92x quite faint, roundish, very diffuse, almost uniformly bright. The southwestern edge sometimes appears slightly brighter. At 133x not better.

Bright spiral galaxy, which is located only 40' southeast of the also evident and rich open cluster NGC6939. Both objects together give a nice view!

Large, round, faint, somewhat irregular shape. At 100x I could rudimentarily percept the northeastern spiral arm with averted vision. Overall the galaxy appeared slightly mottled.

152mm f/8, 171x, Bortle 6, SQM-L 19.3
NGC2300 is with averted vision at 133x relatively well visible, at 171x almost conspicuous. The galaxy appears roundish, moderately condensed. From time to time a stellar brightening appeared in the center, probably the nucleus. NGC2276 was not seen for sure at 133x and 171x. At 171x at least an extremely faint brightening was indicated.

Very nice, uneven pair of galaxies.
NGC2276: At 92x quite faint, roundish, very diffuse, almost uniformly bright. The southwestern edge sometimes appears slightly brighter. At 133x not better.
NGC2300: At 30x very compact, slightly condensed brightening. At 92x and 133x very conspicuous with averted vision, getting significantly brighter towards the center, roundish. From time to time the stellar core appears in the center.
