einige schwache Sterne sind erkennbar, die vier hellsten bilden eine SO-NW-ausgerichtete Raute - indirekt kommen zwei drei schwächere Vertreter hinzu - Haufencharakter schwierig einschätzbar, im Sternumfeld gibt es einige ähnlich aussehende Sterngruppierungen

bei 111x zeigt sich die Galaxie indirekt leicht länglich, sehr schwach und diffus - nahe der Wahrnehmungsgrenze - bei 160x nimmt die Sichtbarkeit zu und NGC 2510 wird indirekt gut sichtbar - leichter Helligkeitsanstieg zum Zentrum hin erkennbar
