in der betreffenden Gegend ist die Orientierung extrem schwer, denn an der betreffenden Stelle gibt es keine vernünftigen Orientierungssterne - bei 72x und [OIII] ist mit etwas Geduld indirekt eine schwache Aufhellung sichtbar - der PN bildet mit drei helleren Sternen im Norden ein rechtwinkliges Dreieck - man muss sich ein wenig Einsehen, dann zeigt der PN leichte Helligkeitsunterschiede bzw. er wirkt unregelmäßig - bei 111x und [OIII] lässt die Sichtbarkeit nach

bei 111x zeigt sich IC 5217 wie ein typischer stellarer PN, nicht ganz scharf stellbar und leicht grünlich, nein nicht grünlich … andersfarbig als alle anderen umgebenden Sterne - Filterblink klappt gut mit UHC und [OIII] - bei 160x wirkt er schon leicht flächig - der PN liegt auf einer Linie mit zwei helleren Sternen die diagonal von NO nach SW verlaufen - im unmittelbaren Umfeld zum PN gibt es keine Sterne - bei 240x wirkt das Zentrum heller
