NGC7293 (PN)

DSS
Image source: DSS II (red) - 30×30'
Name: NGC7293, PK36-57.1, Helix Nebula, Eye of God
Type: PN
Constellation: Aqr
Coordinates: 22h29m38.54s / -20°50'13.64"
Brightness / Size: v7.3 mag / 25.0x25.0'
8" f/6, 37x + [OIII], Bortle 3+
Extremely large for a planetary nebula. Round, darkening toward the middle. Due to slightly brightened sky without filter barely seen with averted vision, because of very low surface brightness.
