Leiter 5 (AST)

DSS
© DSS II (blue) - 15×15'
Name: Leiter 5, The Sword
Type: AST
Constellation: Aql
Coordinates: 19h33m30.00s / +11°42'00.00"
Brightness / Size: - / 12.0x4.0'
This asterism was discovered by Klaus Spruck and Stefan Schuchhardt. Many faint stars form a sword pointing to the north. Visually the asterism is more apparent than on the DSS image.

8" f/6, 80x, Bortle 3-, SQM-L 21.2
SQM-L 21.0: At 37x less evident. At 80x the 'sword' is quite apparent.

8" f/6, 37x, Bortle 4, SQM-L 21.1
SQM-L 20.4: Close to a 7.2 mag star visible as a moderately evident group of loosely scattered stars. At 80x about 10-15 stars.
EASY

NGC6756 (OC)

DSS
© DSS II (red) - 8×8'
Name: NGC6756, H7.62
Type: OC
