Type: GLXGRP
Constellation: LMi
Coordinates: 10h49m53.00s / +32°59'00.00"

Group Members:
NGC3395 (UGC5931, H1.116) v11.8 mag 1.7x0.9' (50°)
NGC3396 (UGC5935, H1.117) v12.0 mag 2.9x0.9' (105°)
Bright Arp group of two interacting galaxies.

8" f/6, 80x, Bortle 4, NELM 6.0, SQM-L 21.0
At 37x both galaxies appeared together slightly elongated. From 80x well separated, but touching each other. NGC3395 appears brighter & larger than NGC3396. Both appeared oval, evenly bright and evident with averted vision. Further details were not seen.

NGC2859 (GLX)

DSS
© DSS II (blue) - 5×5'
Name: NGC2859, UGC5001, H1.137
