At 37x oval, slightly condensed, barely visible with direct vision. At 80x slight brightening toward the middle, elongated, without distinct core. The brighter core area appeared also elongated. The axis ratio was about 1:2 to 1:3. At 150x the galaxy seemed to be asymmetric and showed a brighter extension towards south.

At 100x the brighter core area is most apparent and appeared oval, evenly bright. With averted vision the fainter outer regions were visible. At 150x a stellar brightening southwest of the galaxy was seen. The galaxy appeared overall slightly oval.

Oval nebula with slightly brighter core, otherwise almost evenly bright. Seemed at 96x somewhat mottled. Two moderately bright stars at the eastern and western edge, between them a fainter one south of the core.

Observation was at the beginning of my active career in November 2011. Glimpsed as diffuse brightening. Also higher magnification wasn't an improvement. Today I think that this galaxy should be easily seen with averted vision with 8" ;)
