M22 (GC)

DSS
© DSS II (red) - 32×32'
Name: M22, NGC6656
Type: GC
Constellation: Sgr
Coordinates: 18h36m23.94s / -23°54'17.1"
Brightness / Size: v6.2 mag / 32.0×32.0'
B 40mm, 8x, Bortle 4, SQM-L 20.9
Very bright, evident, large, getting much more brighter toward the middle.

EASY
120mm f/5, 18x, Bortle 6, SQM-L 19.5
At 18x very bright and large, getting brighter toward the middle, but without distinct center. At 40x with averted vision partly resolved, partly granular. At 75x well resolved.

EASY
8" f/6, 37x, Bortle 5+
Wonderful cluster. At 37x the edge regions are well resolvable, at 133x resolved close to the center. The cluster showed several star patterns, so that the cluster appeared irregular.

M28 (GC)

DSS
© DSS II (red) - 12×12'
Name: M28, NGC6626
Type: GC
Constellation: Sgr
Coordinates: 18h24m32.89s / -24°52'11.4"
Brightness / Size: v7.7 mag / 11.2×11.2'
B 40mm, 8x, Bortle 4, SQM-L 20.9
Much smaller und fainter than Messier 22. Compact, not resolved. Barely seen with direct vision.

EASY
8" f/6, 37x, Bortle 4
Very bright and compact. Even at higher magnification (200x) it appeared diffuse. Besides the bright core I could see at 133x also the fainter outer regions quite well.
EASY

M75 (GC)

DSS
© DSS II (red) - 7×7'
Name: M75, NGC6864
Type: GC
Constellation: Sgr
Coordinates: 20h06m04.84s / -21°55'20.1"
Brightness / Size: v9.2 mag / 6.8×6.8'
8" f/6, 37x, Bortle 4
Very bright, large, sharply defined core area with much fainter outer regions. Appeared diffuse even at 133x.
EASY

NGC6642 (GC)

DSS
© DSS II (red) - 12×12'
Name: NGC6642, H2.205
Type: GC
Constellation: Sgr
Coordinates: 18h31m54.23s / -23°28'34.1"
Brightness / Size: v8.9 mag / 5.8×5.8'
120mm f/5, 74x, Bortle 6, SQM-L 19.5
Rather small, round, moderately condensed. Well visible with averted vision.
