At 27x easy to separate, rather wide apart with clear difference in brightness. At 38x the colors are slightly better visible: A shines in bright orange, B appears rather grey-blueish.

Obvious difference in brightness and color. Brighter component slightly orange, weaker bluish. Could be Albireo's little brother ;)

A detailed article about Kruger 60 was published in the "Journal of Double Star Observations" by Wilfried R.A. Knapp and John Nanson. Another article is about the origin of the comet 2I/Borisov (C/2019 Q4) in connection with Kruger 60.

152mm f/5.9, 150x, Bortle 6-
Observed at magnifications between 129x and 300x. The seeing and transparency (Bortle 6-) were only average. The rather faint B component seemed to appear in few moments.

The seeing was more average (3/5). Observation under suburban conditions (Bortle 6, SQM-L 19.1). Initially observed at 270x, later at 300x. The extremely faint companion was always visible at the same position if the air was steady enough. Difficult because of the low magnitude!

Striking, beautiful double star with visible difference in brightness. At 44x A appeared rather yellowish, B slightly blueish, whereby the colors were difficult to detect.
