Cas A (BN)

DSS
© DSS II (red) - 8×8'
Name: Cas A
Type: BN, EN
Constellation: Cas
Coordinates: 23h23m24.00s / +58°48'54.0"
Brightness / Size: - / 4.0×4.0'
8" f/6, 133x + UHC, Bortle 4, SQM-L 21.0
2014-11-23: After some problems with orientation I've found the correct position to see at the end nothing ;-) I've tried magnifications of 96x and 133x with UHC & [OIII] filter.

HH164 (BN)

DSS
© DSS II (blue) - 5×5'
Name: HH164
Type: BN, RN
Constellation: Cas
Coordinates: 00h11m26.10s / +58°49'29.0"
Brightness / Size: - / -
Herbig-Haro object caused by the young variable star V633 Cas. Visible is the surrounding dust envelope. The southeastern extension on the DSS image is HH161.

8" f/6, 171x, Bortle 4-, NELM 5.7+, SQM-L 20.9
Very compact, in comparison to the surrounding stars diffus and somewhat extended. The southeastern extension (HH161) wasn't visible.
MODERATE

IC59 (BN)

DSS
© DSS II (blue) - 15×15'
Name: IC59, LBN620
Type: BN, EN, RN
Constellation: Cas
Coordinates: 00h57m23.00s / +61°08'24.0"
Brightness / Size: - / 10.0×10.0'
8" f/6, 80x + UHC, Bortle 4, SQM-L 21.0
[OIII] filter also didn't showed anything.

IC63 (BN)

DSS
© DSS II (blue) - 15×15'
Name: IC63, LBN622
Type: BN, EN
Constellation: Cas
Coordinates: 00h59m31.00s / +60°55'30.0"
Brightness / Size: - / 10.0×10.0'
8" f/6, 80x + UHC, Bortle 4, SQM-L 21.0
Also tried an [OIII] filter.

NGC281 (BN)

DSS
© DSS II (blue) - 35×35'
Name: NGC281, IC11, Pacman Nebula
Type: BN, EN
Constellation: Cas
Coordinates: 00h52m25.10s / +56°33'54.0"
Brightness / Size: b7.3 mag / 35.0×35.0'
8" f/6, 37x + [OIII], Bortle 5+
Quite obvious, slightly irregular brightening with a dark notch. A more detailed observation is outstanding.
EASY

NGC7635 (BN)

DSS
© DSS II (red) - 20×20'
Name: NGC7635, H4.52, Bubble Nebula
Type: BN, EN
Constellation: Cas
Coordinates: 23h20m48.30s / +61°12'06.0"
Brightness / Size: v10.0 mag / 15.0×8.0'
8" f/6, 100x + [OIII], Bortle 4
Fairly well visible around the 6.94m star with averted vision. Quite evident, evenly bright.

Sh2-157 (BN)

DSS
© DSS II (red) - 80×80'
Name: Sh2-157, LBN537
Type: BN, EN
Constellation: Cas
Coordinates: 23h15m30.00s / +60°10'00.0"
Brightness / Size: - / 60.0×50.0'
8" f/6, 37x + [OIII], Bortle 4
Vey large, diffuse, irregular brightening with brighter extensions. Within the nebula are many star chains. Unclear definition of the edges. Overall quite well visible.
EASY

vdB1 (BN)

DSS
© DSS II (blue) - 10×10'
Name: vdB1
Type: BN, RN
Constellation: Cas
Coordinates: 00h10m46.37s / +58°46'10.3"
Brightness / Size: - / 5.0×5.0'
8" f/6, 96x, Bortle 4, SQM-L 21.0
I could see halos around the three rather bright stars, but also around other brighter stars. So I guess, that I didn't saw the nebula, because these halos were symmetrical around the stars.
